So, this is huge. IT has officially been one entire year since ShapeRunner was released to the public. In that year we gave up. But. Two weeks ago I formed a new team of eight people. We are remaking The ShapeRunner! We have high hopes to release the first version late July this year (2016), but don't expect version 1.0 until 2018. So i know I haven't posted any updates in, well, more than a month. Ive been on vacation and other stuff and haven't really had the time, but, now im working on the game almost 5 hours a day and next week I plan on releasing 0.0.08! Along side 0.0.08 is... drum roll please..... the new website! As stated before, former updates will not be posted on the new website. I hope you guys gave up on beating level 5 without having anything to shoot.... I promise, although 0.0.08 won't have any new levels, there already are new levels implemented that you couldn't get to until beating level 5. It was NOT on purpose, please don't think that. Anyways, back to work on 0.0.08!
P.S. I fixed shooting in 0.0.08 and punching may or may not be implemented upon release. So in 0.0.07 AND 0.0.075 You cant shoot any magic. Also, when you first download the game and after tutorial press "Go to last saved level" yours screen goes blank. This is because you have never played that version of the game before. I will be making a new feature so that this does not happen and if you have not ever saved a game, you will be taken to level 1. I also have no clue what is wrong with the magic shooting. It just stopped working, I didnt even change it at all! So I have spent HOURS trying to fix that. I have not found out what went wrong/what is wrong with it, so most likely I will have to rewrite that entire game mechanic which will put the next update into near
august. To add to that I have to finish the new website which takes longer than you may think since I'm not using an editor such as weebly now. It's all custom code. So expect the website to be up and running soon, but as for a game update.... I have no idea. I am not concentrating on adding any new levels to the game for the next update, only new things such as a fully functional shop etc. If you did manage to get to level 5 you would have noticed it is a boss level. Since there is no shooting for the past versions it is impossible to beat level 5. I promise you, in that update I had create all 5 levels I promised, unfortunately, you couldn't access them. So I really hope you guys don't give up on FlyHighGames for this, also, stay tuned for more updates! P.S. Once we launch the new website we will no longer include past updates, only new ones and a few update notes about past versions of the game being released. So yesterday(June 23rd) I had a friend come over and play ShapeRunner. When he got to level 5 I realised that you cant pass on to level 6(facepalm). I will be releasing a new version of ShapeRunner, 0.0.075 that fixes this among a few other bugs. And also, we are almost finished the new website so stay tuned! Ièm sorry I didnèt see this bug before release, I was very rushed to finish that update and didnèt have a lot of time to update it. Also realised that you cant beat any levels, fixed that in this version too. Hopefully you guys didn't give up on me for those bugs. Anyway, the link on the downloads page will be used still but it will have a prefix next to it saying "Unstable". Sorry for any inconveniences!
Yes, we are getting a new website ShapeRunner updates will be temporarily delayed until we are finished developing the new website. This means that 0.0.08 may not come out until the start of July unfortunately. Also, I hope you guys liked the 0.0.07 update, I know there are some bugs such as being able to look upside-down after pausing the game and I am working hard to fix them. But that will have to be done in July. So just a heads up to you guys! Stay tuned!

The Animator Today, Friday May29th 2015, we released Shape Runner 0.0.06 to the public! Check it out on our downloads page! So I know, I know, you may notice no tutorial. Well, first let me defend saying that it is five pages long and since I was sick most of this week I could not write it all out. I promise it will be in 0.0.07 though. Cross my heart, I really hate delaying on things, I really do! Anyway I fixed up a second level quickly that adds a completely new level of difficulty. I really hope you enjoy playing it! I am just gonna rattle off a few known bugs here so you're not surprised or mad or anything.
As of 0.0.06: - On level 2, on the very last platform you can look underneath yourself so that your view is upside down facing the wrong way - On the loading screen the image is way out of scale - When you beat level 2 the screen says "Congratulations on beating level 1" instead of level 2 - When you change the game volume, it works however after you die it returns to max volume - Credits screen does not have music (I don't know what happened there, I swear I had it!!!!) - Last (and probably worst) there is a glitch where if you manage to some-how, some-way hit your own magic while on the first platform on level 2 you get teleported to the first level (I spent hours trying to fix this so I will try to fix it before 0.0.07) Right, so I hope you guys don't get too PO'd from those bugs, we'll squish 'em soon!
